Where Healing Meets Honor
At the heart of Beacon Lodge Camp, in a space where many veterans congregate, we are building a permanent, 42-foot circular memorial walkway surrounding a sacred fire space, designed to recognize Pennsylvania's veterans and all who have served - the Circle of Honor.
"You're building a place of remembrance — a functional, living space where veterans can gather, reflect, and still feel the warmth of the fire. That's the whole point."
The memorial is laid in concentric rings of engraved brick — 4×8 individual tributes and 12×12 legacy stones — surrounding a pentagon-shaped fire center. It will be a place veterans return to, where families come to find their loved one's name, and where the community honors service together.

A Memorial Built in Stages

Phase One — Now Underway
Site preparation and the full brick walkway installation. Concentric rings of 4×8 and 12×12 engraved memorial bricks, filled sequentially from center outward. The pentagon fire space at center remains a gathering place for veterans. This is where your brick reservation matters today.

Phase Two — Coming Next
Branch recognition structures — a semi-circle of flagpoles representing each military branch and the U.S. flag — placed outside the perimeter of the circle. Seating, landscaping, and dedication elements that transform this into a full reflective memorial space.
