Morning: Rise and Shine
Campers wake up in their cozy cabins in either the Adult Camp or Children’s Village. Our campgrounds are equipped with comfortable accommodations that are designed to meet the needs of all campers, ensuring a safe and pleasant start to each day. After morning routines and some cheerful greetings, everyone gathers in the dining area for a hearty breakfast. Our meals are crafted to be nutritious and cater to various dietary needs, with kitchen staff trained to accommodate allergies and special requests. Breakfast time is also a chance for campers to chat with friends and staff, setting a positive tone for the day.
Mid-Morning: Activity Time
The morning is a great time to dive into a wide range of activities. Campers might try their hand at arts and crafts, where they can express themselves creatively with tactile materials, paints, and projects tailored for different abilities. Others may explore nature in our dedicated Nature Center, where they can learn about local wildlife, go on sensory walks, and engage with hands-on exhibits. For those who enjoy movement, accessible sports and games provide fun and fitness in an inclusive setting. For the more adventurous, the Climbing Tower and Zip Line offer an exciting challenge, all under the careful supervision of trained staff who ensure every camper is securely harnessed and confident before beginning.

Campers can cool off in our accessible swimming pool, where trained lifeguards and adaptive equipment make water play safe and fun for everyone. The Hodges Hand Car Railroad is a unique highlight—a favorite among campers who enjoy taking a ride through the camp grounds. Others may choose to relax at the pond, watch wildlife, or participate in catch-and-release fishing. Outdoor bowling alleys bring the fun of a favorite game outside, and music and drama sessions provide a creative outlet where campers can sing, play instruments, or act in small skits. Governors Green becomes a lively hub of activity, filled with laughter and camaraderie.
Evening: Campfire Connections
Dinner brings everyone back together to share stories and laughs. Meals are served family-style, encouraging social interaction and community bonding. As the sun sets, campers gather around the stone fire ring for songs, skits, and s’mores. These gatherings are a cherished tradition at Beacon Lodge, fostering a sense of unity and joy.
