Are you interested in volunteering at Beacon Lodge?
Here at Beacon Lodge, our campers safety is important to us. We adhere to Child Protective Services Law.
The Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) requires certain individuals to obtain clearances in order to be a volunteer with children or at risk adults. The purpose for requiring clearances is to provide those selecting volunteers with information to use as a part of a larger decision-making process when determining whether to select them as a volunteer.
Clearances are required for a volunteer at a minimum of every 60 months from the date of the oldest clearance.
Pa Lions Beacon Lodge Camp requires the following clearances during our camping season:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance: Free for Volunteers
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check: Free for Volunteers
- Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal History Background Check: $22.60 for Volunteers
