As golfers began arriving Friday, August 28, the dreary, rainy weather was forefront on everyone's minds. It had been raining all day, but that didn't stop our dedicated supporters. Some came early to get their early bird round of golf in before the big day, some came early for the camaraderie, but everyone came to show support for Beacon Lodge Camp.
As the day of our golf outing arrived, so did the rain clouds. Someone was looking out for us though; the clouds drifted around the American Legion Golf Course in Mount Union, but never over it. You could see them all day, but it turned out to be a perfect day for our 4th Annual Pa Lions Beacon Lodge Golf Outing... sunny and warm.
Following PA State Health Department mandates, the meal scheduled at the end of the outing was cancelled and instead food was served throughout the day as golfers took breaks. They enjoyed Cheesesteaks, Chicken Cheesesteaks, and Hot Sausages along with potato salad, potato chips, and drinks.

Each year, a goal is set for the amount of funds that we try to raise. This year we exceeded our set goal of $20,000.
We are proud to announce that at the end of the day, thanks to all of our supporters, a total of $24,067 was raised for Pa Lions Beacon Lodge Camp! It is support such as this that help keep Pa Lions Beacon Lodge camp up and running.
