Eligibility Criteria for all Beacon Lodge Campers

  • No camper will be permitted to attend camp if he/she displays physical/verbal aggressive tendencies.
    • e.g. punching, biting, scratching, kicking, and/or obscene/offensive language.
  •  If the camper has a history of these behaviors, please reconsider registration.
  • Campers that display these behaviors will be sent home.
  • It is the caregiver’s and/or emergency contact’s responsibility to pick up the camper.
  • Campers with acute medical conditions that could result in a medical emergency at camp cannot be accepted.
  • Campers must be free from communicable disease.
  • Campers must provide a yearly physical form.
  • Campers must provide a current medicine sheet.
  • Age requirements are based on the age of the camper at the beginning date of the session.
  • The minimum age of a child camper is 6. *(No Minimum Age For Family Camp Sessions)
  • The maximum age of a child camper is 17.
  • The minimum age of an adult camper is 18.
  • The upper age limit for adults will be based on health, safety in a camp setting, and assistance needed.
  • All campers will be evaluated on an individual basis to determine proper session placement based on the camper’s individual needs.
  • Current camper status will be reviewed and determined on a yearly basis.
  • Camp Coordinator will notify campers or caregivers of any session changes following the current camping season via written letter.
  • Administration reserves the right to assign campers to specific sessions due to staffing and camper needs.
  • Check-in begins at 12 noon and runs to 3:30pm.
  • Check-out starts at 9 am until 12 noon.
  • On Check-In day dinner is the only meal served.
    • Please be sure campers eat lunch prior to arrival!
  • On Check-Out day only breakfast is served.

•It is with a sad heart that Pa Lions Beacon Lodge Camp has discontinued our Special Care Program.
Sometimes, in order to best serve our community, changes need to be made.
This is one of those times.
