Summer Camp Session Information

Eligibility Criteria for all Beacon Lodge Campers

  • General

  • Medical

  • Age

  • Placement

  • Check-In/Out

General Requirements

  • No camper will be permitted to attend camp if he/she displays physical/verbal aggressive tendencies.
    • e.g. punching, biting, scratching, kicking, and/or obscene/offensive language.
  • If the camper has a history of these behaviors, please reconsider registration.
  • Campers that display these behaviors will be sent home.
  • It is the caregiver’s and/or emergency contact’s responsibility to pick up the camper.

Camp Liberty

  • This session is for Independent adults living with disability.
  • Minimal assistance with basic needs such as mobility, direction, and camp activities
  • Continent and Independent in all aspects of daily living skills.
  • Ratio: 1:8 (1 counselor to 8 campers)

Camp Sensational

  • Autism Learning Interacting Vision Experience
  • Types of Disabilities: Intellectually Challenged, Autism Spectrum.
  • Campers must bring their own supply of personal care items. E.G. briefs, moist wipes, bed pads, shirt savers, and utensils.
  • Ratio: 1:3 (1 counselor to 3 camper)

Project New Hope

  • Created for our Pennsylvania disabled veterans and their families
  • As a way for us to say thank you to our disabled veterans...
  • Come and spend 5 days relaxing, free of charge, in a serene atmosphere.
  • Enjoy our climbing wall, zip line, fishing, and much more.
